One of my favorite pastimes is to go on a hilltop and watch city lights. I think this is a past time of many people all over the world. To watch the whole city shimmering with lights is a beautiful sight. The lights lend a festive look to the city. Even while traveling in train or by car you can watch city lights gleaming in the dark. I think one reason why we love lights is that it is a clear indicator that there is civilization around.
