In India, this is a beautiful time as the month of October and November spell the festival season followed by the marriage season which is the time to celebrate. People light up the outside of their house with outside lights to show their happy mood. The festival season brings in Dushera and Diwali which is also called the festival of lights where people decorate the house with lights to welcome Goddess Lakshmi, the Goddess of wealth and prosperity. The house decorated outside lights resembles the sky with tiny stars glimmering in the dark and lighting up the sky. The tiny lamps which have been replaced by modern versions like outside lighting and solar outside lights completely light up the house and it is a welcome site not just for humans but for Goddess Lakshmi too.
